Veal Rolls


  • 3 Quebec Veal cutlets, 120 g (approximately 1/4 lb) each
  • 12 slices of chorizo cut in half
  • 150 g (1/3 lb) Oka cheese with the crust removed and cut into 12 sticks


  1. Cut each cutlet in four lengthwise.
  2. On each piece of cutlet, place two half slices of chorizo and a cheese stick. Roll the cutlet pieces and secure with toothpicks. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. In a frying pan, heat some olive oil on medium. Cook the rolls 1 to 2 minutes on each side.


Hint for presentation

Why settle with simple toothpicks to secure the rolls when you can choose decorative toothpicks or cocktail sticks that will look much better? Coloured, embellished with a diamond, a flag… There are endless possibilities.
